It has a 1.5 km long beach that extends from the border with Roses to the mouth of the Muga River, south of the urbanization. Empuriabrava has a Primary School and a Secondary Education Institute, it also has a library, a weekly market for clothes and fresh food, several supermarkets, clothing stores, restaurants, a parachuting center, a wind tunnel, a Surf simulator and many more things. An ideal place to spend your holidays, for tourist rental, second residence and even to live all year.
The main communication route is the C-68 road that connects with Figueres (18 km) and in this city with the N-II road and the AP-7 motorway. In Figueres there is also the HST (4,5h from Paris, 50min to Barcelona). A regular bus line connects the urbanization with nearby municipalities. The urbanization, being a marina, constitutes in itself a marina with about 5000 private moorings.
